Martha Grim

Color and subject matter are my inspiration for painting.  I employ bright colors and strong values to create intimate moments and special feelings in my paintings.  My favorite subject matters are people, landscapes and florals.

 Martha Grim is a native Californian residing in Solana Beach. Her art studies began in high school and continued at SDSU where she obtained her degree in Microbiology. Further studies include 10 years of private study, classes at Mira Costa college as well as many national and international travel workshops. Martha is currently studying watercolor at the Studio of Art and Design in Solana Beach and oil painting with Sebastian Capella of La Jolla.
